Skilled MC, vice-president of Neferiu Records, stage-tested entertainer and media savvy veteran, Ricca Razor Sharp is the complete package.
Ricca’s sophomore solo album, ‘Causeways & C-Trains’, (2009, Neferiu) was well received by fans and media, as a display of Ricca’s energetic and topical songwriting, and knack for combining contemporary and political substance with irresistibly catchy material. The album, produced by Mantrakid and SoLeo, charted in numerous college radio markets, and received positive reviews from a host of national and local publications.
On stage, Ricca is unanimously recognized as a crowd pleaser, crafting well-rounded sets from his diverse catalogue of material, and using positive energy to connect with the crowd. Ricca raps atop a wide variety of beats, crossing genres and ensuring there is something for all party people. 20 years of ‘rapping’ have truly allowed Ricca to rise to the top of his craft.
Ricca’s energy and sense of humor not only shine from the stage, but also from the video screen. His YouTube page features 4 popular music videos, and numerous other live clips, spoof advertisements and montage compilations.
With over a decade of stagemanship under his belt, Ricca has performed nearly 300 times, and has toured Canada on three occasions, once as Ricca Razor Sharp, and twice as the front-man for alt-rock-funk project Phattoe in the early aughts.

He has opened for such diverse artists as Redman/Method Man, Buck 65, Kardinal Offishal, Eyedeas & Abilities, Souls of Mischief, Digable Planets and America’s Best Dance Crew winners, the Jabbawockeez.
