PAST SHOWSRICCA RAZOR SHARP 12 GIG WEEKEND Ricca Razor Sharp of Neferiu Records announces the '12 Gig Weekend' (April 3-6) in conjunction with the Junos in Calgary, AB. The events are varying in nature, and were inspired by the Matt Masters challenge. (http://musicliveshere.ca/mattmasters) Known for his spontaneous freestyling, innovative songwriting and exciting stage presence, Ricca Razor Sharp, one of the hardest working men in Calgary's blossoming hip-hop scene, will perform in Calgary not once, not twice, but 12 TIMES during Juno Weekend, April 3-6. Whether it be on stage, busking in public, on the internet, or on the radio, this promises to be an exciting and unpredictable weekend. Read below to see just what Ricca Razor Sharp has planned. Please note, all performances will vary in length time and detail, and will be free of charge (with the exception of the Soda gig). All times Mountain (Calgary). The performances will be informal and intimate in nature, and will consist of written material and topical freestyles. On many occasions, it will simply be me, and a boombox. This promises to be a great time.

SATURDAY APRIL 5 2PM @ FAMELESS (ALL AGES SHOW) 1314 1 St SW (Special thanks to DJ Meliquoi) 4PM @ SODA w/ Mantrakid. EMC ElectroRama Fest, 211, 12 Ave SW For this show, the Mantrakid and Ricca Razor Sharp will be rocking an electronica/hip hop hybrid set. 9PM @ the PARKING LOT outside of the WAREHOUSE/UNDERGROUND, 731, 10 Ave SW
There is a metal show at the Underground that night, featuring my favorite local hard rocking band, Sittin Idol, so in tribute, I will be making a special guerilla parking lot appearance one hour before the show, and will be freestyling over some Sittin Idol riffs which I have looped without their permission, LOL.
SUNDAY, APRIL 6 12 NOON Mountain/3PM Atlantic LIVE WEBCAM FEED. I will be performing live via webcam at 3PM Atlantic time. Due to limited band width, this will be available via password only to the first 15 people who request it. 1:30 PM CONFEDERATION PARK Acoustic Jam. 10 St NW, just past 24 Ave (by the flagpoles). I will be performing with some friends, who will join me with their acoustic guitars, etc. 3:30 PM STAMPEDE GROUNDS Gorilla Junos Jam. I will be busking a performance somewhere in the vicinity of the Saddledome. I am not just sure how this is gonna go down, so stay tuned for updates..
